Tetanus comments re-openend?
Time for an update from me about something pertaining to me, I suppose, since it’s been a while. But rather than do that, let’s meta-blog for a moment. My blog seems to be doing ok without me adding to it, actually. My tetanus shot reaction post has now passed 2000 views all on its own, which means that it has accounted for more than a third of all the page views of my blog in total. The rate of people visiting that post seems to also be increasing, and there are now something like at least fifteen people a day going to read about my experience with an immunization for tetanus and diphtheria.
Should I re-open that post to comments, I wonder? It might be interesting to see what people have to say. But then it might also be really bad, and it could turn into a flame war between opponents of immunizations in general. At least I haven’t had anyone else post comments on other posts referring to that post (I’m here referring to what I talked about in the post http://dhertz.wordpress.com/2006/12/08/tetanus-shots-and-blogging/).
And yes, this is a rather neat way of avoiding doing work. Why do you ask?

Um, yes, of course you should re-open comments! You should’nt have closed them! A flame war between oppoents of immunizations is PERFECT. That’s the point! To see what crazy things people have to say. I mean, you should at least let all these blog viewers duke it out in the comments section.
